SPECIFICATIONS FOR MADTRAX ATV This vehicle is specifically designed and built for commercial use and with the corporate entertainment and hire industry in mind. Particular attention has been paid to safety and reliability. Chassis: Rugged box section main frame with all suspension points attached. Tubular space frame roll cage gussets at high stress points.
Chassis jig built and powder coated. Suspension: Front - independent parallel wishbone incorporating adjustable coil over shock absorber. Rear - independent single wishbone incorporating adjustable coil over shock absorber. Brake: Mechanical disc brake acting on both rear wheels through live axle. Seat: High back competition seat with 4 point fixing harness. Specially manufactured from glass fibre to retain maximum comfort and durability. Engine: 400cc 4-stroke Kohler engine. Overhead valve. Engine has electric start and integral oil pump to give forced lubrication. Front tyres: 20 x 7.00 - 8 knobbly. Mounted on steel rims.
Rear tyres: 22 x I 1.00 - 9 knobbly. Mounted on steel rims.
Drive: Drive is via a torque converter from the engine to a reduction gearbox. Then via industrial 5/8" pitch chain to the rear live axle.
