I have read your page on NP203 and have a question about the 203. I have a 1977 F150 with manual locking hubs and conversion kit to part time. The NP203 is married to a C6 trans. The NP203 is only 2years old and filled with 10w30. I have not used the 4wD much, maybe 10 times in past 2 years & only about a 1/4 mile each time. Last week, was off road in 4wlow. Stopped, switched to 4whigh and had no gears at all. Trans scrapes going into park and park will not hold truck from moving. Am told it is TC! If so, what would fail in an NP203 to cause loss of all gears? BTW, after conversion to part time, I only had 4wlow, 2whigh and 4whigh. No nutral, only 3 positions. Is that normal? I see in your article 4whigh, 2whigh, nutral, 2wlow and 4wlow!! My truck is still in the woods and seems to be stuck in nutral, even though I never had a nutral. What should I look for to get it in gear? I'm not familiar with transmissions or TCs but pretty good at mechanics and have lots of tools. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Rod.

Rod , Your shifter has possibly come loose and the t/c is stuck nin netural . I would get under the truck and try to shift it at the case. Then you will know if the trouble is really in the t/c. I really doubt the t/c has failed and will not move at all without some serious noise and grinding.
