I HAD PURCHASED A FOUR RUNNER LIMITED AND I HAS SEEN FOUR PERSON INCLUDING ME THAT HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM WITH THE GAS PUMP, MY DEALER SAID THAT IS THE DENSITY OF THE GASOLINE PRODUCED IN VENEZUELA (PDVSA COMPANY), MY QUESTION IS THAT THE PROBLEM PERSIST, HOW COME TOYOTA HAVEN SAID ANYTHING PUBLIC BECOUSE HERE IN VENEZUELA IT SEENS TO BE A REAL BIG PROBLEM. WHAT DOES TOYOTA KNOW ABOUT THESE CASE? MY PUMP WAS REPLACE 2 WEEKS AGO AND MY DEALER TOLD ME TO PUT IN THE GASOLINE TRANSMISSION OIL DO YOU THINK THAT IT WOULD HELP? BECOUSE I THINK THAT THE INYECTOR WILL SUFFER THAT. THANK FOR YOUR ATTENTION HOPE I QUICK RESPONSE

This site is awsome. All the important questions are answered here. I have a new to me 1990 4runner V6 auto with a reverse that slips so badly that any resistance it will not move. The fluid is topped up and clean. Is this common and or are there any ways to fix this problem without a major repair? Steve
