Once I got the springs home from the junkyard, I disassembled the springs and cleaned them up. I then took my stock springs off, disassembled them and cleaned them up.

My Truck has been running on the Mazda rear spring swap for a few years now. The springs have been loosing there arc slowly over the years. As my truck sat now, the rear springs had sagged till they were negative arched. They also had a horrible case of spring wrap. I decided it was time to fix all that. It all started when I was hammering my rig on the trails of the infamous Johnson Valley...

On my truck I noticed fluid around my brake drums and lug nuts, so, upon looking closer, I smelled 90w. So, I pulled the axle assembly to replace the seal, and saw that the bearing had a lot of play, and the bearing was falling apart. So I decided to replace the bearings and seals on both sides of the axle. Start by jacking the truck up, and placing the truck securely on jack stands. Next remove the rear wheels. Then remove the pin that holds the e-brake cable on. Then remove the brake line (10mm) Next remove the four 14mm nuts that hold the axle assembly onto the axle housing. Now remove the axle, brake drum assembly. Take care and not drop the axle, its heavy.
