Wombat (Vombatus ursinus):"The wombat is the largest burrowing mammal. Indeed, it is such an accomplished burrower that early settlers called it a 'badger'. However, its closest relative is in fact the koala. With its short tail and legs, characteristic waddle and 'cuddly' appearance the wombat is one of the most endearing of Australia's native animals." As a rock climber, I understand the importance of good anchors. If you climb a route, you can top-rope with a solid anchor point at the cliff's top, lead-climb and find suitable anchor points as you climb, or free solo and be so confident that you do not need a rope or anchors.
