But don't get out the cutting torch before you first check out Superlift's IFS lift system. This lift provides room for tall tires, is built tough, and looks fantastic.

4runner Modifications Unless you really want to pull things with your 4Runner, most of the drivetrain can be kept stock. Other things, though, tend to be weaker. Here are some reccomendations:

I have a copy of Four Wheeler showing a photo of an '85 SR5 with a really, really BIG moonroof (lifts up, smoke-tinted glass). Looks pretty sharp. I had a slightly smaller aftermarket moon-roof put in mine

SR5s have chrome grills and bumpers, spiffy decals, and full gauge packages. Turbo SR5s have different (higher-level) cloth interiors, and some had digital gauges. Newer Deluxes were available with chrome bumpers.
