My Samurai is completely stock, except for the shocks (Rancho 5000). The side striping only exists in 5 specimens. For usual travels, my Samurai is equipped with alloy rims from a Vitara VUARNET (French Special Series). For off-roading, I use 16' fluo pink rims from an MB Jeep. So far, we've only clocked 118 000 Kms, and we expect to do a lot more.

Calmini Superchargers Introduction

November 1, 2005

The Camden Supercharger System utilizes a Roots-type supercharger developed specifically for automotive engine applications. A supercharged engine, when operating under boost, that is, with positive manifold pressure, will experience higher combustion pressures than a normally aspirated engine.

Trail Tough Missing Links

November 1, 2005

ts apparent now--in the realm of Suzuki-ism--that suspension systems have come a long way from simple 3 lift springs. With the advent of SPOA conversion kits, one can have a very flexible rig without spending a fortune in engineering costs. Since we're all crazy for flex and more ability for our little buggies, that wasnt good enough. Glenn Wakefield pioneered the Missing Link system that debuted at the '98 Top Truck Challenge. With his amazing 42"+ of flex he went into production with the system that put Rocky Road Outfitters, LLC (formerly known as Summit Off-road) in the books. Since then others have developed enhanced versions of his original product idea. We wont get into the $500 versions& they're a Jeep thing, I dont understand.

Trail Tough Extended Suzuki Slip Yokes

November 1, 2005

Stock drive shafts frequently become problematic for Samurais with four or more inches of lift. A plain SPOA or a set of three inch lift springs with taller shackles is about the limit for their length. To avoid expensive custom drive shafts, aluminum drive shaft spacers that bolt between the stock drive shafts and the pinionsranging in size from 0.75 to 1.5 inchesare available from several Suzuki aftermarket vendors. These are designed to prevent over-extension of the slip yokes and a separation of the two halves of the shafts.

Interco Super Swamper SSR

November 1, 2005

Serious off-roaders know how important a good set of tires is to their vehicles performance. After all, the vehicle only contacts the ground through the tires four (or fewer, on the more extreme trails) contact patches and no matter how good the driver; a vehicle cant go anywhere if the tires dont have sufficient traction.
