April 1, 2006

One of my favorite parts of being in the great outdoors is camping. I love camping. It's a way to get away from everything--away from the busy life of the city, away from work, and away from troubles.

Ready to Rock? - Nylint R/C Rock Crawler

December 1, 2005

The new Nylint R/C Rock Crawlers from Funrise is a must have for any Off-Road Enthusiast. I first saw one at the Off Road Expo this year. One of the guys from Trail Ready was playing with it in their booth. I got to see the Rock Crawler in action. It had the ability to go from 4-Hi to 4-Lo on the fly. I also noticed how it could crawl over things, and that it had great suspension articulation. This was unlike any other R/C I had ever seen. It was an R/C Rock Crawler with the spirit of the real thing. At that point I knew I had to have one

Goodyear MTR

November 1, 2005

Goodyear has created a name for themselves in the rockcrawling world with its MT tire over the years. The MT was super sticky, quiet, and had great side to side stability on rocks. However, the sidewalls were not known for there durability and how they wore. It had a decent lug thump as well when you pulled up to the stop signs. The Goodyear engineers set a goal to create a redesigned MT that could compeat up in today's extreme rockcrawling events and on the street. I am happy to tell you, they succeeded.
