Shock Boot as Driveshaft Boot

November 1, 2005

I figured it couldn’t be hard to do, so today I set out to replace my missing one on the rear driveshaft.

O2 Sensor Circuit

November 1, 2005

The O2 Sensor Feedback Circuit provides visual indication of possible emission control systems faults. It monitors the vehicles Emission Control Systems (ECS) and provides an indication to the driver via a Sensor or Check Engine light located on the instrument panel. The system is designed to automatically light the Sensor lamp at 60,000 mile intervals. Appearance of the light at the proper intervals is an indication that the system is good and a Cancel switch is provided to cancel the light at these times.

James Holloway

The car has had a lot of suspension work done to it. It has a set of five 7x15 chameleon wheels and 33/9.50/15 BFG A/T tyres. A modified 2.5" Pro Comp suspension lift, with a 3" body lift kit. It took four weeks to do and was finished in December 1999. I have only had it for a year. The old bumpers have been taken off and new ones fitted. I had this done after seeing Joe A Nunes-Pereira's Vitara on this web page. Joe and I are going to be at some meeting with our cars.

Project Samurai

November 1, 2005

What does it take to make a trail-worthy Samurai? This question was recently presented to Steve Kramer of Calmini Products Manufacturing.

Project Suzushi ARB Bull-Bar

November 1, 2005

It was time to get rid of the flimsy stock bumper on my truck. The end-caps were falling off, it was dented and twisted, and there simply was no hope of making it into a strong winch mounting point.

Project Suzushi Petroworks Bed Rack

November 1, 2005

There's never enough storage space in a Samurai. The rear "bed" area measures just 35?" x 35?" x 13?" (between the wheel wells) and that's without the rear seat. There's no center console, a tiny glove box and no trunk.
