I am stationed with the Navy in Keflavik, Iceland, which is home to some of the best four-wheelin' in the world. I'm also an active member of Arctic Quest 4-Wheelers; we go on monthly trips exploring the beautiful country. Weather at times is pretty arduous but this doesn't stop Spazuki from performing like a champ, even with a soft top.

1994 Suzuki Samurai
November 1, 2005

I bought my bone stock Samurai new in December of '94. I chose the Sammy because I wanted something unique, yet small and light. I wanted something new because this was my first project that was long term and I didn't want to inherit someone else's buildup mistakes or used vehicle problems.

Project Samurai Linkage Steering

November 1, 2005

Project Samurai continues to evolve into a dominant off-road vehicle. So far we have installed the Calmini two inch shackle reversal, a 1600 Sidekick motor upgrade, and the power steering system.

Project Suzushi CB Radio

November 1, 2005

After nearly a year of using the new Grant, which I really liked, one thing became painfully clear: it was just too large.

Project Suzushi Rancho 9000 In-Cab Control

November 1, 2005

About a year ago I installed Rancho 9000 shocks as part of my spring over conversion. They were 5 position manually adjustable and were hopefully gonna give me a much better ride.

More power! I gotta have MORE POWER! As Samurai owners, this is something we've all said at least once.

Project Suzushi Petroworks High Output GM Alternator Kit

November 1, 2005

A little more power never hurts, especially when it comes to running a CB, a bunch of fog and driving lights, dual batteries and so forth. Running the CB, halogen headlamps and fog lamps while running at very low speeds on the trail was beginning to show that what I had with the low output, 10-year-old, stock alternator was a variable lighting system and a constantly low battery.
