The San Bernardino National Forest consists of two major areas. One lies in San Bernardino County covering part of the San Gabriel Mountains west of Interstate 215 and extending easterly in the San Bernardino Mountains, north of Interstate 10. The second area lies in Riverside County in the San Jacinto Mountains and Santa Rosa Mountains areas east of Interstate 215 and south of Interstate 10. Information At most stations there?s a map of the San Bernardino National Forest available ($4.00) that provides an overall view of the Forest and its facilities. There are also numerous other Forest Service and privately produced maps and hand-outs.
