Possibly the most rewarding aspect of a long term project such as
this, is the before and after appearance of the object in subject.
And this project is no exception at all. In stock form, the
Chevrolets are not exactly known for their abundance of ground
clearance; matter of fact I know a couple of people that did not
buy a new Chevy truck because of that very fact. Sure the new four
wheel drive HD trucks sit at a nice level, but not everyone either
has it in their budget, or just doesn't need a truck of that
stature.
Before:
Box stock and ready for the highway.
After:
Highly modified and ready for off-road!
It took six months to complete this project, and
the end is finally here. Before, traveling anywhere off-road was an
adventure in itself. Now with the help of the Pro-Comp 6 inch
suspension lift and 305/70/16 All Terrain tires, the truck can be
taken almost anywhere. I could go on and on about the improvements,
and well...I will.
