Well kids, here we go again! The letter below was
intercepted from the Eco-Nazis at the Sierra Club as it was being
sent out to their mentally deficient little minions. Seems they
feel so comfortable with the "temporary" closure at Glamis they
have turned their myopic, bloodshot eyes north and westward to the
shores of the Pacific and the sands of Pismo...
Read on, be sure to have a puke sack handy:
| HOW TO SAVE PISMO DUNES FROM
ORVs Sierra Club's Santa Lucia Chapter
and the San Luis Obispo Environmental Defense Center are working to
put a stop to one of California's longest running and most
environmentally destructive coastal tragedies: off road
recreational vehicle (ORV) use of the Pismo Dunes. Currently, and for decades, over
one million dune buggies and other off road recreational vehicles
annually tear apart sensitive dune structures and destroy
endangered species such as the snowy plover. The spectacle has to
be seen to be believed. Four wheel drive cars racing right through
Atascadero Creek, rendering useless a steelhead trout fish
stream. The carnage goes on for miles
along the beach and for thousands of acres of sand dunes inland.
The Coastal Commission is expected to put a stop to the senseless
destruction at its February 2001 meeting in San Luis
Obispo. Activists are urged to mark your
calendars now for the week of February 13-16, 2001 and we will let
you know the specific day of the hearing. Hundreds of activists are
needed to insure the Commission does the right thing. Fortunately activists can now see
the destruction without having to go to Pismo. Film-maker Robin
Chilton, Gordon Hensley of SLO-EDC and Tarren Collins of Sierra
Club's Santa Lucia Chapter have created a video of the Pismo Dunes
and have scheduled an activist event for January 18, 2001. The
event will happen at the United Methodist Church, Wesley Building,
1515 Fredericks Street in San Luis Obispo at 7:30pm. Check it
out. Next Coastal Commission Meetings:
January 9-12, 2001 in Los Angeles and February 13-16, 2001 in San
Luis Obispo. Happy Holiday and go to the
beach,

What's up here is the Eco-Nazi's know
they will be screwed in the upcoming environmental policies of a
Bush Whitehouse. Soon we will be drilling for oil in the Everglades
and mining coal from the large intestines of Barbara Streisand and
other liberal intelligencia elitists that have built their
sprawling old growth redwood castles of hypocrisy up and down
the shores of California. They are making an all out blitz in the
eleventh hour to get us tossed off of lands we have a right to!
They just got their asses kicked a huge court battle in Utah, Bruce
Babbit, King of Eco-Scum is about to be fired, the BLM, at least
here in Nevada has turned a deaf ear to their furtive whinings. The
climate for eco-madness is looking pretty unfavorable.
OHVs have co-existed
wonderfully for decades with not only the sands of Pismo, the
people and the economy of Arroyo Grande, but yes my mentally
defective little Eco-Trolls, even the steelhead of Atascadero Creek
have thrived.
The Sierra Club's letter above is crap,
lies and eco propaganda. Designed to misinform and inflame. There
can be only one course of action! Show up at their meeting on the
18th, and show up at the Coastal Commission meetings in LA and San
Luis Obispo! Be sure to make your opinions known, in a word (or
two) SPEAK OUT!
I could go on and on,
but a long winded rant isn't needed here. We all know that there
are no threatened issues or life forms at Pismo. The California
coast will not suffer an ecological meltdown from a minuscule OHV
area like Pismo's presence. And that this campaign isn't
about saving the environment, it's about the obliteration of our
sport and our way of life by a small group of elitist fudge
packers.
Some good news:
The Coastal Commission will be
considering reopening the Eureka Dunes in Humboldt County!
The info on the Coastal Commission meetings is
here:
Friday, Jan. 12th, Westin LAX, Los
Angeles--California Coastal Commission to review REOPENING the
Eureka Dunes!
Be there!
Info on the meetings regarding Pismo's possible
closure to OHVs in February is not yet available. I will have it
posted as soon as possible!
Closing on a happier note;
Ding dong the witch is dead!
