In the beginning... a very stock K5 Blazer purchased in 1991. The running boards were the first to go! GM 10 bolt axles front and rear, 208 t-case, 465 4 speed, and a TBI 350 exist under the sheet metal. The rear 10 bolt broke twice! A 383 was installed but didn't live long due to operator error.

Ugly, but a 14 bolt FF is in the rear, Dana 44 front, 205 t-case, and a 6" Skyjacker lift is added. Don't ask about the tires.

New paint is obvious. 35" Boggers, Skyler top, and a 91 grill is installed. A used 454 is installed but didn't survive long. It's now considered the money pit!

A few suspension mods. Softer springs, crossover steering, Revolers, greasable bushings, shackle flip, longer shocks and custom mounts help achieve a score of 986 RTI on a 25 degree ramp. Also replaced the Dana 44 with a Dana 60. New gears and lockers front and rear along with beefy 1 ton CV drive shafts. The Swamper Radials replaced the Boggers and fuel injection is added to the second 454.
