Tearing down a vehicle is fairly straight forward. Just
pull out a wrench and start pulling bolts off the vehicle.
Right? WRONG! The trick is to do it in a logical,
planned consistent manner while documenting, photographing,
cataloging and storing the parts as they come off the
vehicle. Remember, they came off - they also need to go back
on. Many many parts will be replaced during the rebuild
process but nothing will be discarded until the entire rebuild is
complete. The tear down will begin with the body, proceeding
to the power train and finally to the frame and suspension.
This collection of pages is a living history of the process.
I'll post photos here and in the album and provide captions
detailing the process as the tear down progresses.
