This  86' Toyota pickup is owned by Brian Sneed of Gainesville, FL.  Brian's truck rolls on 33x12.50 BFG mud terrains cleared by  2" Superlift long add-a-leaves with heavy-duty, greasable shackles in the rear, and 26mm Downey torsion bars cranked to about 2" in the front. The suspension is rounded out by an IFS truss, Superlift shocks, polyurethane A-arm bushings, and low profile bumpstops.  Other modifications include the custom built exoskeletal cage, custom bumpers holding a Warn M8274 in front and a M8200 in the rear, ARB safari snorkel, blue Durabak exterior coating, black on the interior and bed, a Detroit ez locker in the rear diff.  All this is currently propelled by a stock 22R 4 popper, but plans are in the works for a 22RE.  Brian uses his truck as a daily driver/weekend warrior and for competing in the Safari Triathlon and Off-Road Sportsman Challenges.  For more pics and info visit Brian's website http://sites.netscape.net/a4xgatorusa/homepage

Exterior mods are brush guard/grill guard, Bosh driving lamps, nerf bars, and tow receiver hitch.  The bed is coated with spray on lining and tonneau covered. Inside there is a Kenwood CD player with 6x9 Pioneer speakers and a CB radio. The roll bar is also wired for 4 KC Highlights. I also have an in cab cage, 5.29 gears, Mazda leaf springs in the rear and Northwest springs

Howdy my name is Ruud Cogels and here´s a picture of me under my
Double-Dutch Toyota pick-up after a swamp crossing. It´s a bit modified but what the heck. I would appreciate it if you could put it on your readers rides list. It´s a 87 Crew cab Hilux with it´s original 2.2 litre 4Y gasoline engine(300.000 km)still in the engine bay. It stands 2.35 meters(7'10")tall on 38.5 x 14.5 x 15" Swamper TSLSX´s. Clearance by  7" of suspension and body lift. 5.71 R&P make the intercos go around, while ez-locker and LSD provide ample traction. This winter I plan to add All Pro Hy-Steer steering and a 350 V8.
