A rear lockright gives me traction on the wet Washington trails, while the convertable with bikini top keeps me cool in our hot summers on the trail. Chris Reavely's 1985 Toyota X-tra Cab houses a swapped-in Chevy 350, which sends power via a TH-350 trans, Downey T-case adapter, stock Toyota 'case, custom driveshafts (rear is a one piece unit), and out to the stock Toyota axles. Exhaust gasses are expelled through "blockhugger" headers, Flowmaster mufflers, and 2 1/2" pipes. 3" of suspension lift is provided by Rough Country, and 2" of body lift provided by Dick Cepeck, which all helps to clear the 36x12.5-15 Swamper TSL's on 10" Eagle wheels. Located in north Florida, the truck is mostly used to abuse the local mudholes. Sennet Wiggens is a 18 year old who uses his 89 toyota V6 pickup for just about everything, but what he really enjoys is playing in the mud only about a half a mile from his school. This is a daily driven truck to work and off-roads on weekends. Adam Freedman's '86 Toyota 4Runner. I live right outside of Washington DC. My truck has a 3" body lift and 33"x12.50" Bridgestone Desert Duelers wrapped around 15"x10" American Racing Wheels. There are Dick Cepek Race Series 88 shocks at all four corners and a 77 series steering stabilizer. I recently added a two and one half inch exauhst system, free flow catalytic converter and muffler, headers, and an intake/air-cleaner conversion, all by Downey. There are Warn Premium manual hubs at the front, and a hydraulic Ram Clutch engaging the gears. I installed the kayline convertible conversion. Matt's 94 Toyota ext cab 22RE has a lot of add on's. First he put on Grizzly's Roll Bar with 5 Baja 100W Lights on top. Then he got rid of the stock wheels and tires and replaced them with American Racing Wheels and 31" Big-O Tires to cut thru anything that tries to stop him. Next the Grill Guard went on and that really added a lot. Everything besides that is stock. This is a fun 4x4 to own!! John Douglas' 1991 4Runner After purchasing his 91 SR5 Auto, although he was more than pleased with the 4Runner he became unhappy with its engine performance, as in Oz going to many places sometimes means many miles. What did he do? Well he stuffed some good ol American iron under the hood in the form of a HO 5.0 EFI Mustang engine and mated it to the 4Runner auto. He tells us it wasn't easy but he took his time to do it properly. The results show. Web Page Ken's 97 4Runner has done some amazing thing since it was bought 1 and 1/2 year ago. It has 58K miles already and regularly go off-roading in the Poconos PA. All stock just removed the running boards and added a lightbar.
