Price and Compare Vehicles: Manufacturer site: www.magnecor.com Cost: $60.50 (plus shipping) I had looked over the Magnecor web site, and decided to purchase a set of their wires. After a short talk with their sales rep over the phone, I decided on the 8.5mm set and placed my order. I was very impresses with the wires once I received them. They were custom cut & prepared for my truck, and every wire was the correct length. Installation was the same as any other plug wire installation. PROS: These wires have offered no increase in mpg or horsepower, and they did not claim to do so. They have however eliminated the ignition noise in my CB radio, as well as the on AM stations. They seem to be very well constructed, and use excellent grade materials. The engine has run well since their installation and I have had no problems. CONS: The boot on the wire for the coil was not a perfect fit, though this may be because it is an aftermarket coil. These stock clips are a little too small, but the soft rubber of the wires does allow them to fit with some work. SUMMARY: After almost 6 months on the truck, I still have not had a problem with these wires. They have not loosened or popped off the plugs, including the coil wire that was mentioned earlier. Before these wires I had installed a set of SplitFire wires on the same truck, and these Magnecor wires are much better in all aspects from construction to performance.
