Inglewood, CA - September 9, 2002 - PML, Inc., (www.YourCovers.com) manufacturer of custom designed cast aluminum automotive products for GM, Ford, and Dodge, announces new Transmission Pans for GM Turbo 350 and Turbo 400 transmissions. For high performance applications or harsh towing conditions, these products come in extra-capacity deep sump versions with increased oil capacity. These new PML pans feature raised fins for a custom look and oil cooling. A magnetic drain plug allows easy oil changes.

The stiff aluminum design with .160" thick walls adds increased torsional strength to the transmission case. Each PML pan has a .350" thick precision machined gasket flange that provides a uniform clamping force on the gasket, ensuring a secure seal far superior to the .035" thick stamped steel covers that come stock on these vehicles. The PML low profile Transmission Pans for the GM Turbo 350 and GM Turbo 400 are perfect for vehicles where ground clearance is an issue.
GM Turbo 400 High-Volume Polished Transmission Pan.
The PML extra-capacity Deep Transmission Pans for GM Turbo 350 and for GM Turbo 400 add two (2) extra quarts of oil capacity. This added capacity significantly decreases the operating temperature of the transmission. Heat causes oil to break down which results in added wear on the clutches, bands, gears, bearings, and seals. PML pans and covers are available in as-cast, black crinkle powder coating, or polished finishes.
