Nitto Tire North America, Inc. introduces the new Terra Grappler All Terrain tire, the latest offering from Nitto Tires specifically designed for light trucks and SUVs. With the introduction of the Terra Grappler All Terrain tire, Nitto Tire expands its extreme performance tire line-up to encompass your off-pavement needs while maintaining superior on pavement ride and handling.

The new Nitto Terra Grappler All Terrain tire is the company’s first light truck/sport utility tire to be offered in higher load range ratings of ‘D’ or ‘E’. These higher load ratings make the Nitto Terra Grappler All Terrain the perfect match for use on heavy-weight trucks such as the Ford SuperDuty and the GM Heavy Duty, as well as the larger SUVs on the road today.

The Nitto Terra Grappler All Terrain tires are designed to provide exceptional all-terrain traction for use both on pavement and off, in all weather conditions. The computer designed tread features tread coupling blocks for improved traction and handling, high-density sipes for excellent traction on snow and slush, and slant grooves for outstanding wet traction and braking, all in an aggressive looking package.

Nitto Terra Grappler All Terrain tires are constructed with a single strand, spiral wound bead for improved uniformity, two-ply and high turn-up polyester sidewalls that provide strength and durability. Two extra-wide steel belts improve the tread contact patch for added traction and puncture resistance. In addition, two nylon cap-plies ensure high-speed durability and performance. The Nitto Terra Grappler All Terrain tires also feature a rim-saver bead to protect your wheels.

Nitto Terra Grappler All Terrain tires will be available in diameters from 31- to 37 inches, widths from 10.50 to 14.50 inches, and wheel sizes of 16-,17- and 18-inch. This wide range of tire sizes allows for plus-1, plus-2 and even plus-3 upgrades. By increasing the rim to sidewall ratio, handling both on and off highway can be vastly improved. The Nitto Terra Grappler All Terrain line will be offered in Q and S speed ratings and the P-metric sizes will have a UTQG treadwear rating of 500AB.
