This pic was taken by Jake Carter around the Fuller Ridge area in Eastern Ky. It was named the " Initiation Hole ". But is has been defeated as you can tell, with a little help from the home made snorkle setup The 87 Toy sits on 33x1250s, 3" body lift and a removed swaybar.
This is a little taste of what we do on the weekends here in Eastern Ky.This is my 87 toyota before the snorkle upgrade. Here it has a 3" body lift, 33x12.50s,removed swaybar, full 4 point cage, stock 22R , except for the K&N Filters. This pic was taken on what we call " Rock Crusher Hill " near Blaine, Ky by Johnny Carter. No lockers and still made it ,I also have it on video. My name is Kyle Knott and this is a picture of my 1986 Toyota Truck in the San Tan mountains of Arizona. It runs with a stock 22RE motor, and the only mods I have on it are Pro Comp ES3000 shocks, and a K&N drop in air element. Everything else on the truck is stock. It has 111,000 miles on it, and I love to go off roading in the desert. I dont have any plans for future mods, just because the money isn't there. I've had the truck almost two years.
Marshall Echols is showin' his flex at the picture spot on the Rubicon trail. He tears up the local creek in Woodland, Ca in his 84' Toyota with 33" swamps. This beastly Toyota makes several trips a year to Tahoe for snowboarding at Sierra. This truck and an 84' X-cab are being combined to make a supertruck.
Tom?s 85 Toyota truck has a bored, port and polished 22R with a Doug Thorley header, Schnider and a GM AC-Delco alternator. Custom hybrid front springs and NWOR springs in the rear (Mazda spring swap on the way.) RS9000 shocks front and rear with a custom ?Klipplink? quick disconnect torque rod up front. 31" Yokohama Geolander MT tires and custom front and rear bumpers.
Jim's 92 toyota sr5. The V-6 is running with Downey headers and a Supertrap muffler. air intake is provided by the ARB snorkle. the 4" Trail Master suspension and 3" bodylift make plenty of room for the 33" BFG mud tires on 15x10 Outlaw II's. other upgrades include a Procomp skid plate, cb, scanner, and a spare tire carrier. Jim lives in northbend WA and uses his truck for every type of 4wheeling.
William Taylor of Pensacola, FL has a 1984 4-runner that sits on 39.5 Boggers spun by 5:29 gears. Powered by a 22R motor, pushing approx. 200 HP. It has a Warn 8000 LB winch on the front. The truck is still a work in progress.
Rick's 1987 Toyota Tercel 4wd wagon is almost all stock with a few add ons such as a Rally grill guard equipped with 2, 6" round Hellas and 2, 6" round KCs. He has added a rear driving light recently as well as a CB radio, SR5 trim and seats, and a factory clinometer. The picture was taken near Sugarloaf USA in Maine. Rick enjoys to drive up to Sugarloaf and view the moose as well as 4 wheeling with the tercel, an 86 Jimmy and a 86 Toyota Pickup.
Mike Ward's 82 short bed is located in Lemoore CA, It features a 22r with a NWOR header and 2.25" Flowmaster exhaust, onboard air, incab cage, half doors (in work), custom over the bed cargo rack, Smitty front bumper, homemade rear bumper and slider bars(in work), 3" body lift, hybred front springs and stock rear with Downey Rubicon shackles, 35x12.5 BFG muds, 4.88 r&p with a Detroit locker rear, Trutrack front, Marlin Crawler double "T" case #498, low profile crossmember & enough spare parts to fix most any trail breakage.
1985 shortbed, 22r with LC Engineering Header and free flow cat into a Turbo muffler with 2 in exhaust. 33 BFG MT's, 4:88 front and rear, Detroit in the back and True Track in front. Custom front bumper with 60' HiLift. Custom rear tire carrier in the back. Near future plans include a Chevy 4.3 and 700r4 trans. Suspension upgraded to Alcon 5' springs and Rancho 9000's at all four corners.
