Corona, Ca…advanced FLOW engineering (aFe), an industry leader in performance intakes, filters, manifolds and exhaust systems is pleased to announce the release of their new intercooler tube upgrade for the 2004-07 GM Duramax with the V8-6.6L LLY/LBZ (td) motors part number 46-20049.

The intercooler tube is constructed out of huge, mandrel bent 3” 409 stainless steel and is powder-coated for maximum cooling efficiency. Two heavy-duty, 5-ply heavy duty reinforced couplings give this upgrade the much-needed strength to easily withstand high boost pressures and maintain reliability. All hardware including constant tension t-bolt clamps is supplied for an easy installation.

In recent testing, part number 46-20049 out-flowed the factory Intercooler tube by 67% and gave a stunning 16 max horsepower and 49 max foot pounds of torque increase at 1800 RPM which significantly lowered exhaust gas temperatures and increased MPG’s.
