September 24, 2009, Barstow, Calif. -- Paul Lukey, CEO of TrailGlow Lighting, announced today that he is ceasing production and sales of HID light systems after identifying knockoff systems sold under the TrailGlow name but using inferior electronics.

"Our HID lights employ a design I created that used the highest quality electronics because I want the best for my customers," Lukey said. "Unfortunately, it appears that the factory we used to produce them began wholesaling similar versions using inferior electronics and these have begun appearing for sale in the U.S."

TrailGlow will continue to service HID lights that are still under warranty and will continue its contingency program through the rest of the 2009 race season.

In the interim, TrailGlow will focus on sales and marketing of its INERGY technology off road light panels, custom illuminated logos and decals and lighted safety vests.
