So, What's In It?

Well, glad you asked. I purchased my latest truck from Scott Isuzu in August of 1994. It was considered a fully loaded S model, 4WD, and in Radiant Red. It came from the factory with:
  • High power 24 valve V-6 engine, 175HP
  • Power Steering
  • Power 4 wheel disc brakes with rear wheel anti-lock
  • Gas pressurized shocks
  • Auto locking front hubs
  • 21.9 gallon fuel tank
  • Carpeted floor mats
  • Rear window wiper, washer, and defogger
  • Tinted glass
  • Reclining front bucket seats
  • Tweed cloth upholstery
  • Center console with storage
  • Child safe rear door locks
  • Underbody skid plates
  • Outside tire carrier & cover
  • 4 speed automatic transmission
  • 16" aluminum wheels & limited slip differential
  • Sport side step
  • Brush/Grille guard
  • Keyless security system
  • Air conditioning
  • Power windows and door locks
  • Dual outside power mirrors
  • Cruise control
  • Aero roof rack
  • Rear convenience net
  • Intermittent front and rear wipers

Now I just couldn't leave a perfectly good vehicle stock. So I have discreetly made the following modifications:

  • Clarion CD player
  • 4 Sony mids, 4 Sony tweeters, and 2 Orion Red XTR 12" woofers (1st order box)
  • Blaupunk 4 channel, Punch 200 DSM
  • Turbo Tube muffler and 5" Monster Tip.
  • D pillars painted to match.
  • Window tint (only slightly illegal)
  • Chrome door handles and tail lights
  • 3" chromed CALMINI suspension lift.
  • Chromed CALMINI hi-flo intake.
  • De-emblemed.
  • Chrome fender well trim.
  • Aluminum pedals.
  • 3" Body lift
  • 325/60 15 All-terrains on 15 X 12.5 inch rims

I am getting fairly close to completing my truck, but there are still a couple of extras I would like:

  • Yellow scallops with purple pinstriping
  • All the chrome accessories from the LS model
  • 4 foot sliding rag top
  • Six point roll cage
  • Winch/winch bumper
  • Locker

My experience with the truck are all positive. It has done exceptionally well. I have driven the Crown King Trail four times, and every time it made it without hiccup or complaint. The last time I did the trail was with the new CALMINI suspension lift. I was thoroughly impressed with the way the truck would walk through sections that it would have difficulty with before. Very impressive!
