Cheap Replacement Defroster Hoses for '68-9/73 FJ40s

Upon visiting my local vacuum cleaner shop, I discovered that you can
purchase commercial size (2 1/2 Diameter) vacuum cleaner hose and cut it to length.  On my Cruiser, the tapered end fit perfectly into the heater duct and the cut end fit perfectly over the defroster duct.  And I mean "exactly".  Works perfectly!  Cost me $20.00 to fix both sides and that is without shopping around for a cheaper hose source.  Specter is asking approx. $26.00 for the hose on the right and $23.00 for the left.  It is not exactly OEM, but my windows are not foggy anymore and I still have $30.00 in my pocket!
