BFGoodrich T/A KO2

BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2
Last year, BFGoodrich unveiled its fourth-generation all-terrain tire, the T/A KO2. We were fortunate enough to actually get a first impression of the tire down in Baja on sections of the SCORE Baja 500 and 1000 course, and while we have a forthcoming long-term review of the tire we did come away from the Baja event with a positive impression of the tire. Since this is the first time BFG updated its all-terrain KO tire in nearly 15 years, plenty has changed - and much of it has to do with being stronger and more durable. BFGoodrich said the new KO2 has a 20 percent stronger sidewall, and it also said the treadlife of the tire on gravel is doubled compared to the KO. BFGoodrich also said its on-road wear is improved by 15 percent. The all-terrain tread design is suited for both on- and off-road travel, but BFGoodrich also says its zigzag siping will improve mud and snow traction as well. Now that the tire has formally launched, BFGoodrich has 60 different sizes available, with pricing starting at $222. For more information, visit BFGoodrich.com.
