Off-road racer and X Games legend Brian Deegan and Mickey Thompson have partnered to create the Deegan 38 tire. The all-purpose mud-terrain tire is designed to tackling soft terrain but also provides “great street manners,” says MT. To provide a greater contact area for ideal traction and also to reduce road noise, the Deegan 38 features a tightly spaced inner voids in the tread design, while wider outer voids help to provide improved traction and self-cleaning ability. Mickey Thompson says it uses “generous” siping for improved traction that allows the tire to better conform to the surface.
