Here is the BJ41v prior to the restoration.

This month we are able to show you this beautiful BJ41v Land Cruiser restoration direct from the Philippines. Benedicto C, Evangelista acquired this BJ41v surplus from Japan and then began work on restoring it. Of course this isn't his first restoration since he owns ABC Motor Parts in Cabanatuan City and also has a 1978 BJ40, 1986 FJ62, and a 1978 FJ45. His next project is the BJ40.

As you can see from the picture at rice the Land Cruiser was not as beautiful as it is now when Benedicto acquired it. The complete restoration took 10 months to complete.

The unit was originally right hand drive and was carefully converted to left hand drive without sacrificing any of the body or chassis. The engine is the original 2B diesel. The interior was also fully restored during the process.

This is the 2B diesel when it arrived from Japan.
What a nice change!

The BJ41v was already fitted with aftermarket suspension so all was needed was some Rancho RS900x shocks to soften and control the ride. A rancho steering stabilizer was also added. The land cruiser was also fitted with a mechanical winch when it arrived and it has also been restored to good working condition.

Super clean everywhere you look.
The mechanical winch is in excellent working condition.

If your a Land Cruiser addict you have to be drooling. Even if not you can't help but appreciate the work that Benedicto has done on this Land Cruiser. We can't wait to see his next Project when it is done.

Check out the ultra clean interior!
