Glenn Viveiros's 1977 K5 Blazer
  • 350 4 bolt main
  • Flowtech headers and dynomax super turbo mufflers with 2 1/4 inch pipe
  • Sm 465 Granny low 4-speed 6.55 to 1 first gear
  • NP 205 Transfer case
  • 35x12.5x15 BFG Mud T/a's on 15x10 Western aluminum wheels
  • Rebuilt Quadrajet Carb
  • Dana 44 front with lock right locker and 3.08 gears
  • GM 12 bolt rear with Lock-Right Locker and 3.08 gears
  • 120 amp CS series alternator from a Police Package Impala(used an adapter plug from A/C Delco)
  • 60/40 Split bench seat out of an 97 Chevrolet Silverado
  • Roll Bar behind the seat with crossover bar for the 5 point Harness's attached to body in 6 points
  • 5 Point harnesses for 2 front seat passengers
  • Extended Front Shock mounts
  • Extended Rear Shock mounts
  • 9012 RS9000 shocks at all 4 corners
  • 4 1/2 inch poly bump stops all 4 corners
  • Poly spring bushings all the way around including the upper front shackles
  • 4" Front Tuff County Ez ride springs
  • Offroad Designs longer stronger front shackles
  • The sway bar is gone and crossover steering is in its place
  • Removed the engine crossmember and made a new one in a new location
  • Rear shackle flip for 4 inches of lift, done by Glenn himself
  • Rear springs out of an 87 K-5 completely rebuilt with new Teflon pads and re-radiused spring edges
  • Flipped and shortened the overload leafs for better articulation
  • Explorer Pro-comp extended stainless steel brake lines front and rear
  • Raised the 33 gallon gas tank and skid plate approx 2 inches up for better departure angle
  • 2 gauge battery cables and Ford Starter solenoid
  • Dome light with map lights out of an Astro van. 2 more lights under the dash
  • Hand Throttle (Glenn made it out of a bmx bicycle brake lever and cable)
  • Warn Premium front hubs
  • 60 Inch High lift jack
  • The rocker panels have been replaced with 2"x3" box tube, that allows 2 inches more ground clearance, they go from the bottom of the front fenders all the way to the rear fenders. Glenn has also cut out the front and rear fenders and re welded the seams for better tire clearance
  • Custom bumpers, spare tire/gas can carrier
  • Warn HS9500i mounted to a custom cradle that Glenn built. Glen has the high lift mounted inside on the passenger side to a rack that he built
  • Built a removable rack that bolts to the rear seat holes that lets him tie everything down in the back and also allows the replacement of the seat when needed
  • Carries all kinds of spare parts and winch accessories as well as his tool box and cooler
