Nissan Trucks & 4x4 Projects Nissan has produced both trucks and SUVs popular with off-road enthusiasts. Nissan's early truck offering was the Hardbody Truck in the mid 1980s, which was later replaced with the current Frontier. Nissan also produces a few popular SUVs with off-road enthusiasts that include the Xterra and Frontier. Additionally, Nissan introduced the full-sized Titan in 2004, which is still offered in 2WD and 4x4 options.
