$50,000 in Purse Money for the General Tire Trophylite Race Series for 2011
CHANDLER, AZ - Trophylite teams set to compete for the richest class in all of Off-Road racing in 2011. The General Tire Trophylite Race Series is proud to announce the 2011 purse and payback to be $50,000. In what teams have come to expect from the Trophylite series once again the team at Trophylite put together another huge pool of cash to race for in the new year. This starting another year with the the richest purse fund of all classes in off-road racing for the 3rd year in a row. Even with the rough economy that we are all facing the team worked hard to bring the kind of prize money that Trophylite teams and racers are looking for.
With 5 races in 2011 to compete for cash the Trophylite program shows the best bang for the buck in all of off-road racing. The Trophylite concept is designed to keep the cost of competitive racing as low as possible with defined rules to keep the racing on the dirt and not in the wallet. With $50,000 in prize money up for grabs look for the past Trophylite champions to bring the "A" game to the first race of the season to set the stage.

With our existing Trophylite R-4 program in the 3rd full year now and our new platform coming this season with the new V-8 powered Trophylite R-8 we will see big stuff in 2011 from the Trophylite headquarters. We will also see the first Ford powered Trophylite truck debut at the Best in the Desert Parker 425 coming up. Trophylite is a spec off-road race truck that has its own General Tire Trophylite race series for the off-road community. The Trophylite trucks are spec trucks which means that all of the trucks must use the same parts and are heavily regulated to keep the costs in line. Trophylite has been building and running the race series now for about 3 years and just crowned their most recent series champion Gary Messer.
