Recreation Planning Under Fire

Conservative commentator and pundit Alan Caruba of The National Anxiety Center has another winner on his hands. Alan's first book, "Warning Signs", a compilation of op-eds and essays that was released a couple of years ago was welcomed by his readers as a handy way to access some of his best writings up to that point. "Right Answers" is in the same format, a collection of Alan's more recent work broken down into several categories.

The green doctrine that nonhuman things have "objective value" may be descended from Marxist theory of objective value. This notion was exploded in 1871 by Carl Menger's publication of *Grundsatze der Volkswirtschaftslehre*, which exposed all values as radically subjective. As Aldo Leopold admitted, this is absolutely true for naturalistic aesthetic values.
