BY SUSAN LATHAM CARR OCALA ?The U.S. Forest Service is building 45 more miles of off-highway vehicle trails in the Ocala National Forest to add to the 140 miles that already exist. The new trails will be south of State Road 40 in the Big Scrub area and will circle the Pinecastle Bombing Range. The trail, which is expected to be completed by July 1, has been named the "Centennial Trail" in honor of the Forest's 100th Anniversary on Nov. 24. "It's going to be designed as slow speed," said Rick Lint, Ocala National Forest district ranger. Follow us on Twitter at www.twitter.com/OffRoadDotCom
