Cody Waggoner moves up to Trophy Class

Cody has wanted to move to the buggy/trophy class for a long time now and he has his wish granted for Christmas in 2004. At the women's event in 2004 Joel McClure let Cody test drive his buggy and Mike Berard (our spotter) and Cody were very impressed. Cody was hooked and ready to build one for the 2006 competition season, but Mitch Guthrie put his buggy up for sale - and the rest is history to be made with TWR as the new driver/owner. On December 24 2004 Cody brought home his Christmas Present and has not stopped smiling. He has made it his own by putting yellow panels on it, sticking with the yellow and black (well dark grey) color scheme.

We named the buggy 'Roxanne' - Cody just likes the song and it sounded good. Mighty, Mighty CJ had her name since we started jeeping 10+ years ago, and I named my jeep 'Roxy', so it only seemed right to give the buggy a name. Roxanne is the grown up version of a jeep.

After one event under our belts and a top 10 finish in that event - Cody and Mike are very happy and ready to stay on top of the rocks. Next event ProROCK 3/12/05 and then WE ROCK 3/19/05 in Moab. We are looking forward to a great season this year.
