New Products from Easter Jeep Safari

Mar. 28, 2013 By Josh Burns
The Jeep off-road community has gathered yet again in Moab, Utah, for the 47th annual Easter Jeep Safari. As the week of off-road-related activities wears down, vendors and enthusiasts are on hand today and tomorrow displaying products and vehicles at the Spanish Trail Arena.

We came across a number of cool new products at this year’s show, and here are just a handful of things we came across at this year’s show.

Teraflex Tera 30 Heavy Duty Front Axle
Offering JK owners another replacement or upgrade option, Terxflex recently released its Tera 30 front axle to compliment the Tera 44 in its product lineup. The direct bolt-in upgrades have been engineered for more serious off-road abuse with 3.25” OD x .25” wall DOM tubing for added strength. The forged inner knuckles increase durability and help to eliminate ball joint separation. The axles come with pre-installed inner seals and upper control arm bushings to make the upgrade seamless. If you’ve already invested in a ring and pinion for your Dana 30 and want to install a durable 30 to avoid having to buy all new parts, the new Tera 30 is a great option. TJM TRED (Total Recovery and Extraction Device)
TJM USA is offering both a small and large TRED device for off-road recovery. The polyolefin device is designed to offer serious traction and great structural integrity with its four-channel design. The underbelly also features a unique design to reduce slippage in a variety of different terrains. The ergonomic handles are constructed into the sides of the unit to easy grip and control. The TRED features an aggressive teeth design to reduce wheelspin, with a ramp incorporated into one end to make recovery possible in nearly any condition. Rugged Ridge All-Terrain Modular JK Bumper
Featured on a Jeep Wrangler it will give away later this year, Rugged Ridge outfitted the JK with its new All Terrain Modular front bumper. Like the XHD aluminum version the company offers, the All-Terrain features steel construction to offer the same level of customization at a more affordable price. The black powder-coated bumper is shown outfitted with the Double X Striker and All Terrain Stubby Bumper Ends, and it offers a removable winch plate cover as well. Featuring a five-year limited warranty, the Rugged Ridge All Terrain modular Steel Bumper System starts at $319.99.
