Yamaha Snowmobile Yamaha Motorís origin was in 1955 with the production of its first motorcycle, and it was in 1968 that the company produced its first snowmobile, the SL350, a 2-stroke twin with a slide-valve carburetor. Yamaha is the only manufacturer currently making 4-stroke snowmobiles exclusively.

    The stock Nytro MTX does not come with a pivoting riser block, so the amount of adjustment is limited. We wanted to rotate the riser forward and back to find the ideal riding position, so a mod was in order.
