Overview and Summary of all models

"Heavy on the technology throttle"

Engineering isn't just a department at Arctic Cat; it's a way of life. The passion to build lighter, stronger, better performing and more comfortable snowmobiles is a fire burning in every Arctic Cat engineer that results in stunning new machines year-after-year.

Last year the F7 Firecat ushered in a new era in lightweight, telepathic performance that saw no equal. At grass drag races it proved untouchable. On the trails and ditches it gave new meaning to high performance, and by winter's end it set a new sales standard.

But rather than rest on its laurels for 2004, Arctic Cat is offering a smorgasbord of new technology across its entire model line. There are new Firecats, an all-new Sabercat line, turbocharged 4-strokes, ACT Diamond Drive ZRs and lighter Mountain Cats. The result: the 41 most inspired and technically advanced snowmobiles ever to carve snow.

So what Technology does Arctic Cat bring to the table?

AACT@ stands for Arctic Cat Technology. The most advanced technology available, exclusively from Arctic Cat.

It is the word we use to describe all of the technologies that make your Arctic Cat the most exciting snowmobile available. Technologies no one but Arctic Cat offers.

POSITION SENSITIVE SHOCKS
Automatically adjusts compression dampening based on where the suspension is in its range of travel. It's soft when it needs to be, getting progressively more firm the further the suspension compresses.

ACT DIAMOND DRIVE
Eliminates the jackshaft and chaincase, replaced instead by a planetary gear system that knocks 11 pounds from the drive system.

4-STROKE POWER
T660 four stroke engine available in the 110 hp Turbocharged version or the 53 hp naturally aspirated version. It=s fuel economy is literally in a category all its own B up to 24 mpg.

REMOVABLE STORAGE PACK
A sleek, roomy touring pack fits behind the seat of all Sabercats. It's easily removed so you can take it wherever you go.

ACT AQUIET@ TRACK
Specially designed risers between track bars that reduce track noise.

FASTRACK LONG-TRAVEL REAR SUSPENSION SYSTEM
With Extra Travel Tunnel (ETT) and Torque Sensing Link (TSL), it creates more suspension travel for extra comfort, a lower center of gravity for better handling, and better responsiveness during acceleration.

BATTERYLESS ELECTRONIC FUEL INJECTION
For easy starts B guaranteed on the second pull B plus breathtaking performance, smooth idling no matter how high or low the temperature and altitude, plus an ultra-light throttle pull to reduce thumb fatigue. Our BEFI is available on select models.

ARCTIC POWER VALVES
More responsive acceleration over a broad band of RPMs, improved fuel economy and minimum maintenance. That's what you get with APV, found on most Arctic Cats.

AWS V FRONT SUSPENSION
Our exclusive AWS V suspension is modeled after the front ends of Indy cars. It virtually ends bump steer and scrub and takes the pounding so you don't have to.

NEW AIR-FORCE INDUCTION
This innovative patent-pending design delivers massive amounts of cold, clean air to the fuel system for improved combustion.

AWS VI FRONT SUSPENSION
Arctic Cat has been refining this exclusive wishbone suspension technology since the 1980s. Redesigned for the F-Chassis, the handling of this sled may be two generations ahead of the competition. It has longer A-arms, 43" stance, and 9.2" of travel.

REMOTE START ON EFI esr MODELS
With just the push of a button, your sled will start itself. This gives you the convenience of starting your sled from the comfort of the indoors. When you're ready, walk out the door to a fully warmed-up sled.

ADJUSTABLE FOOTWELLS
New, adjustable footwells found on many models this year, give your feet a secure grip when cornering.

ADJUSTABLE SKI STANCE
Go from a 39" stance to a 41" stance for more versatility in trail and off-trail riding in just minutes. The system utilizes two 2 B inch washers that can be moved to either side of the ski-spindle for the desired stance. Unquestionably, the most easy system by which to
adjust your ski-stance on the market today.
