the article was very interesting it help more understanding about AISIN free lock. But I need more article about AISIN free lock hub especially for Daihatsu Taft GT (F70). if you have any article about it please send to my email. Thanks Regards, Guntur

Very interesting and useful article.. Will be bookmarking for later reference.. The large pictures don't work and take you to blank pages though, would be fantastic if these could be fixed as a larger and more detailed pic would help lots.. Many thanks..

I think this will fix my problem, I've got a grinding up front on my 86 toyota and just replaced the wheel bearings all the way around, they needed replaced but it didn't fix the grinding. While i was disassymbleing the hub (which ive never done before) i noticed it looked like there were parts missing but i wasn't sure.... now i know that there are some parts missing and im gonna rebuild my hubs. There is no clutch in my hubs and I don't have a clue how its even moving right now thank you for posting this and i hope that is what my problem is!!

Quick question on AISIN HubS. Will the AISIN hub on a 89 Landcruiser fit a '98 tacoma? My tacoma has the ADD hub and I want to convert over to manual.

this artical rely helped in pulling the hubs off. the cone washers had me stumped for a while as they were on tight after about 10 years of service. larger pictures would help
