Hello, I am still trying to figure this CB stuff out. I have an open-top Jeep Wrangler and have mounted a Cobra CB in. I have a 4-foot firestik antenna mounted to the left rear, and a spring between (lost 2 antenna prior). I get horrible reception with it though and placed a magnetic one on to see the difference, and it works much better. Is there a better way to hard mount it ? Thanks.

I have a Cobra in my pickup and I hunt alot. I cant talk to my hunting buddys unless they are right next to me. I have a Wilson Antenna hooked up in the bed of my truck. I was wondering what would help get better reception within 20 miles? thanks, Dylan
