With new products and custom 4x4's around every corner we can't even begin to explain SEMA. 29 years ago the SEMA show was moved to las Vegas and was comprised of 14,0000 square feet. For 2006 the SEMA show will consume over one million square feet of space from over 2000 exhibitors. We will attempt to bring to you just a few highlights from the hundreds everywhere we look.

At this time, we know the price category winners but not the overall NWAPA SUV of the Year. NWAPA will officially announce the results on Wednesday, November 3 at the Seattle Auto Show.

On October 6-8, 2004, Off-Road.com traveled to Portland International Raceway for the Northwest Automotive Press Association (NWAPA) annual Mudfest competition. This event brings together new SUV models head-to-head in a competition to determine the SUV of the Year.

2005 SEMA Preview
November 1, 2005

I have been in Vegas for 3 days now with Supercrawl IV taking place in the parking lot of the SEMA Convention center. The exhibitors and feature vehicles are all arriving and starting to get setup. Again, 2005 SEMA looks to be bigger and better. With over one million square feet of space there is sure to be something new for any automotive enthusiast. Over 100,000 attendees are expected. 1900 exhibitors will be setting up over 10,000 booths. There will be more than 2,000 vehicles on display and over 1,000 new products. Of course we will focus on the Truck, SUV, and Off-Road exhibitors and there should be over 400 of them. Until tomarrow check out last years coverage and get ready for daily updates each evening of 2005 SEMA.
