It appears that our last two columns (the Algore interview and Death Vote 2000) struck some nerves. We got an avalanche of e-mail and are happy to report that the overwhelming majority of it was high favorable. However, we got feedback from a few people who think we were all wrong. And some of them were positively hateful.

Back about ten years ago when I was deeply embroiled in legal battles with the Bureau of Land Management and the enviro-nuts, I wrote a satirical column about Some prime riding land being closed down because some tree-hugger found evidence of the Blunt-nose Leopard Lizard.

Ever since we ran that column on The Hidden Enemy, where I labeled the eco-freaks for the hypocrites that they really are, the email has been churning in to the ORC offices

Last month, I wrote a blistering attack on the enviro-whackos, particularly the Sierra Club and their hypocritical stance in this period of National emergency. Apparently, the article hit a few nerves, including some people who violently disagreed with me.

Well, it looks like the folks here at ORC have stepped in a pile of cow pie, editorially speaking. They ran an article about somebody renting a Blazer and beating the living hell out of it at the sand dunes. Quite frankly, the article was very, very funny.
