| Genreal Intrest Titles | | | "4 Wheel Freedom" - Reviewer's Notebook
| The first edition of "4 Wheel Freedom was an instant hit with off-roaders around the world, and deservedly so. Containing a wealth of knowledge between it's covers, the book spoke in plain language, and was understandable to both beginner and expert alike. Now into it's second edition, author Brad DeLong has further expanded on the work, and made an already great book even better. | | | Sidekick Off-Road Maps - Rick Russell's Off Highway Adventure Series - Clayton Oklahoma

| Between 1983 & 1992, Ford has sold an enormous number of the mid-size Rangers and Broncos, and its not suprising why. From a practical standpoint, they are economical and reliable. From an aesthetic standpoint, they are very "trucklike", with a businesslike appearance. | | | HP-BOOKS - "Chassis Engineering" by Herb Adams
| Chassis Engineering (the art of), is not something to take lightly. The design, modification, and construction of an automotive performance chassis is perhaps the most complex undertaking an enthusiast can attempt. | | | Sidekick Off-Road Maps - Rick Russell's Off Highway Adventure Series - "Big Bear"

| | REVIEW: JEEP CJ REBUILDER?S MANUAL 1972 TO 1986
| So, you want to buy a CJ? I wish I?d had a nickel for every time I?ve replied to those words over the last decade. I?d be rich. There?s something about a Jeep CJ5, or CJ7, that appeals to a man. I love driving it down the street on a nice summer day with the top off and seeing the smiles of those looking from sidewalks and other vehicles. A Jeep is unique and its history is unique. | | | Review: JEEP CJ REBUILDER?S MANUAL 1946 TO 1971
| My first ride in a Jeep was in the early 1950?s. It was a ?Seep?, an amphibious Jeep. Since that ride I?ve loved Jeeps. They are unique to Americans who know their history. So, you want to buy a CJ? Me too, I?ve wanted to find and restore a 1948 CJ2A. They?re simple, rugged and just plain too darned cool for words. IMHO flattie is the way to go! So, this book quickly became very interesting to me. | | MORE ARTICLES

| Owning an off-road vehicle has opened up a whole new world to you. It will allow you to explore areas and trails in a few hours that would have taken you days of bone-weary travel by foot. It brings you a sense of adventure that a non-off-roader will never experience, nor will even know exists. Now you can take friends or family with you in your vehicle on these trips of exploration. But what happens if you break down or become stuck too far from civilization for a tow truck to reach you? | | | Nevada

| New York | | | Rising Sun Four Wheel Drive Club of Colorado
| Here's a bit of history about the club Rising Sun was founded by a few guys that had Land Cruisers and belonged to other 4 wheel drive clubs that were mostly Jeep owners. They got tired of the ridicule and that all the "special deals" on parts only pertained to Jeep parts, and nothing for the FJ-40's and pickups they drove. So enough was enough, and March 1981 The Rising Sun 4 Wheel Drive Club of Colorado, Inc. was born. Our membership requirements are simple; you must be a Toyota 4x4 owner (Land Cruiser, mini-pickup, Tacoma, T-100 or 4Runner), come to one meeting, and one event. Our meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month, inside Stevinson Toyota West's conference room. They are located in Golden, CO. Most of our 30 members live in the Denver Metro area, although we do have a few members scattered in the smaller towns of Colorado and a handful that live out of state. Our membership is 95% FJ-40 Land Cruisers, and 5% pickups and 4Runners. The vehicles range from stock to heavily modified. We do trails that range from easy and scenic to wild and crazy. There's something for everyone. | | | Early Bronco Registry
