This year's Off-Road Expo is hitting the road and rolling its wheels into the Salt Lake City area April 21-23 for the first time ever! This legendary show, held annually in Pomona, California, is going national for 2006, bringing off-road excitement and energy to Salt Lake City and Houston in addition to the famous Pomona show. Off-road enthusiasts across the West will now be able to experience the expo, which showcases all the latest and hottest off-road toys, technologies, gear and accessories from the industry's leading manufacturers, dealers and distributors.

The 2006 Off-Road Expo promises to thrill off-road fanatics of all ages with three full days of demonstrations, trials and entertainment. For off-road lovers, what could be cooler than checking out all the newest buggies, ATVs, dirt bikes, rock crawlers, mud boggers, Jeeps, snowmobiles, trucks and more?

"There is no better place for fans to see all the new toys and technologies under one roof and meet up with others that share their passion for the off-road," said Advanstar's Off-Road Group Director Jim Ryan. "We are very excited to be bringing our show, which is the largest off-road consumer expo in the country, to Utah and to the thousands of devoted off-roaders in the area. With hundreds of products from leading manufacturers, plus many of the local retailers, visitors are going to be amazed at all there is to see and do."

In Salt Lake City, the line-up of new products, demonstrations and seminars will be sure to dazzle off-road fans and even make some new ones! If you have ever wanted to see what surfing, skateboarding and off-roading looks like when combined, then you have to check out mountain-boarding, one of the most exciting up-and-coming off-road sports. Throughout the expo, MBS Mountainboards will showcase this extreme sport with a number of Big Air Demos and trials, featuring some of the best riders in the sport. Additionally, there will be a number of Badland Off-Road Adventure safety seminars, remote control rock crawlers and plenty of off-road video games at the IGX Adrenaline Jam.

The Salt Lake City Off-Road Expo will take place Friday, April 21, from 4 -8 p.m., Saturday, April 22, from 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. and culminate Sunday, April 23, from 10:00 a.m. – 4 p.m. Held at the South Towne Expo Center (located at 9575 South State Street in Sandy, Utah, 84070), admission to the event is $10 for adults and children 12 and under are free. If you don't live in Utah, there is no need to worry, as the expo hits Pomona October 7-8 and will roll into Houston November 10-12.
