Tour of Joshua Tree National Park This is my first time going off-road by taking the Geology Tour off the
Jumbo Rocks Campground in the Park. The first eight miles is easy trip, just
typical dirt washboard road in relatively flat high Mojave Desert. There are
a few tough spot for first time off-roader like myself when descending 3,400
ft to the lower Colorado Desert through a rugged canyon while trying not to
scratch or bottom out.
