A couple of ideas that may or may not be worth anything, assuming you've
ruled out the rear door latch, see:

1) check my first note in:

There may be a drain hose on the other side also.

2) remove the insert where you grab the rear door to pull it down when
closing. (there is a section in the insert that you can pry toward the
insert's center to pull it out). Shine a light in to see if anything
seems loose.

3) you can take off the cover over the rear wiper to check there.

4) check around the fuel fill, there are locking mechanisms etc.

5) after all that, I can only think of Phone antenna cable in the roof
