Tue, 18 Aug 1998 11:34:32 -0700 (PDT) I have a quick suggestion/tip/idea for those who would like DRL. Now I
am not any sort of wiring expect but if some one could find the relay
for the European parking lights, maybe it's possible to wire them so
that both of them turn on when the ignition is turned on. I know they
are wired to only turn on with ignition off and signal stalk set to a
directional. It may be an easier wiring job then wiring up the regular
light. Again, I don't know if it is, just an idea.
The European parking lights are fairly dim but the front lights glow
in a fairly noticable amber color which cannot be missed. I believe
the new Corvettes have DRLs but since the headlights are hidden they
use the parking lights.
What I call the "European parking lights" is the feature clockwise on
the signal stalk/light control.

lights when the engine is turn off, unlike the Saab and Volvo which I
leave the light switch to on all the time.

the dealership to have the proper AAM option turn on. I may just stop
by next week to have my rear hatch door rattle fixed at the same time.
The hatch wasn't making noise until I took the car to a couple
washboard roads a few times.
