I guess I am really fortunate :-) Our experience was fairly
pleasant at FMW. I wouldn't say great, but our salesperson was
professional and courteous, and I got an ML within a few weeks
of ordering last fall, when an extra unit became available
(although
without sunroof & M8, which I am so glad I didn't wait for all
this
time). I dress fairly well but only compared to most software
engineers :-) :-) I also did overhear some of the other
salesmen
there and weren't that impressed, so avoided them.
FMW also just ran a $200 "gift cheque" program for (I think)
all
those that waited for the ML (mine went to help pay for my
radio
upgrade).
I was underimpressed with their service and parts department's
knowledge level and commented on this on a customer feedback
call.
The service dept seem to be getting better based on the last
few
visits.
In comparison our experience with Wagner Motor Sales was really
terrible (took our deposit, never called us or returned calls,
and
took weeks to get our money back). Maybe it all depends on the
salesperson.
