Nah, I do this all the time. I duct tape a key inside the steering
column so it gets the signal. Bypassing their no theft feature but
putting morebetter of my own.

We do Chevy, Chrysler, Ford Products all the time. Had a problem with
an Acura once. The memory steering wheel failed after with did the
remote start/alarm. Couldn't figure that one out. Never had another
prob we couldn't figure out.

Thanks for the info. If I can just suppress the alarm completely I
will figure out the rest. Please let me know if you can find this out.

I have in my mailbox the wiring for the M from DEI although they are
not too confident of their info. I will check it all out and let the
list know. I have coming to me in the mail the wiring from MB. I got
it faxed and couldn't make out a freakin thing on the fax.

I will be installing a remote starter and alarm on a different remote
than what MB gives you. I will miss the switchblade Key. It was the
coolest thing I have seen since canned dog food!:)

Cheers
