I've had two oil changes done. First was at 2000 or so miles, forget
exactly.

I did it not following the indicator because there was a
discussion before on the forum that the indicator doesn't start
checking the oil quality until much later... and I figured it
wouldn't hurt to change the oil early. Also the first one was free.

Also, every time it's been in for something (adding fogs, replacing
rear wiper motor, etc), they have done one or two other (unrequested)
checks and adjustments/replacements. So it would seem like a good
idea to go in more frequently than the service indicator says to :-)

BTW the Eclipse changer is in, so I am scheduled to get installed this
weekend. I'll post impressions/comments next week (hopefully). Thanks
