Hello Aiko,

Eclipse is a very good brand. I would rate it better than Kenwood. I also will be putting an Eclipse unit in my 'M'. I thought about the 4422 and their Mini-Disc (6031) unit that could fit below the stereo. Now you have brought to my attention the 5961. Maybe I'll forgo the 6031 for the 5961.
I should have mine installed by this time next month.
Let is all know what you decide.

I haven't had any luck finding a local shop that sells
Nakamichi... however upon further inquiry to Tweeter,
there is a brand new (apparently, they are awaiting their
first shipment) Eclipse 6 disk indash changer (5961) that
I can get with the receiver/cassette model 4421R. This combo
is comparably priced to the Alpine double din, so it's a
lot more $$$ than the Kenwood (but also is a 6 disk changer).

So, I have heard from some here that Eclipse is a top brand.
I can't find them on the Web (I found Nakamichi and Alpine
after some looking...) so I don't have any more info than
I got on the phone, which isn't much beyond model #'s. Will
I be happier with the Eclipse than the Kenwood....???? I do
view this as a long term investment, i.e. I will take the stereo
with me when I get my next M :-)
